About the Course

The Instrument Rating allows you to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), making you a safer and more capable pilot — especially in low visibility conditions. It’s a critical step for anyone pursuing professional aviation, and a powerful skill upgrade for private pilots.

This course trains you to:

  • Navigate and communicate under IFR

  • Rely fully on flight instruments

  • Enter, fly, and exit holding patterns

  • Execute precision and non-precision approaches

  • Handle real-world weather and ATC environments

  • Master cockpit workload management and decision-making

Training is conducted in-air and in FAA-approved simulators, ensuring real-world readiness and cost efficiency.

Important note: Training cost varies based on the student's prior flight experience, frequency of training, and consistency. Instrument training involves both ground instruction and simulator/aircraft time. A personalized estimate will be provided during your call based on your current experience level and scheduling goals. All costs are estimates and may vary based on nemures factors.
